Accomplishments:

Reflecting back on my accomplishments, I provided the leadership that resulted in achieving our long time dream of having a community pool which will soon be equipped with solar heating. Since opening in 2000, the pool has been the central gathering place for enjoying recreational activities in our community. I am very proud of this accomplishment. At the same time, I ensure that the needs and values of our great community were preserved. To continue this important work, I am running for re-election and I ask for your vote.

I Supported the expansion of the Arts program including
our very successful Chamber Music Series; Arts in the
Park and Arts co-sponsorhip program; Created the
city's website; Began televising Council and Planning
Commission meetings; Banned quarry trucks from
residential streets; Began the Mayor's Health
Initiative Program + (First Phase + Mayor's Saturday
Walk Program); Began "Hire Locals First Program"; and
Completed the Mission Blue Center Multipurpose room,
Ball Field, and Tennis Courts.

At the same time, Approved the Building of the Senior
Housing, Teen Center, Community Garden, Dog Park,

Bayshore Station and various improvements to our
Marina.

In addition, fulfilled my dream of having a bridge
that we can drive, walk and bike. On October 8, I
performed the groundbreaking ceremonies for the Tunnel
Bridge.

In summary, I have demonstrated a strong leadership
in making things happen and with my strong financial

funds.
