VOTE BY MAIL

  • Ballots must be received by the elections office no later than 8 p.m. on Election Day.
  • Absentee ballots may be returned in person to the elections department office.
  • If you did not apply for an absentee ballot but find that you will be out of town on election day, you may vote in person at the Elections Department, 40 Tower Road, San Mateo.

  • Any voter may vote in person at Elections Office:
    40 Tower Road, San Mateo, or
    555 County Center, 1st Floor, Redwood City
    during business hours (M-F) October 5 - November 2, Saturday voting on October 31 10 am - 3 pm Avoid the lines! Vote today!
  • This is an all mail election. Voted ballots may be returned to any City/Town Hall in San Mateo County during regular business hours from October 6 through November 2 and until 8 pm on Election Day, November 3
