Ken Broadway moved to Rocklin with his family in 1998. He and his wife, Dreanne, along with three of their four children, Kenny, Alex and Kayleigh make their home in Rocklin where their children attend Rocklin schools. Their oldest daughter, Jacee, graduated from Rocklin High School and is currently enrolled at the University of Nevada, Reno.

Ken earned a degree in Business Administration from the University of Nevada, Reno and a Master's Degree in Marketing from the University of Phoenix. He has been with UPS for 26 years and currently works as a Corporate Pricing Manager with an office in Rocklin.

Ken Broadway is a long time community volunteer, and believes community must come first. He has served on the board of the Rocklin Girls Fast Pitch Softball League including a role as president from 2005-2009. His is also active as a board member and secretary for the Rocklin Educational Excellence Foundation. Ken also served as a member of the City of Rocklin Park Maintenance Assessment Election Committee 2009 to support our parks and he was on the Design Committee for the City of Rocklin Softball Complex Lonetree Park from 2005-07. In addition to his roles on various boards and committees, Ken has served as a coach for Rocklin Girls Fast Pitch Softball, Rocklin Youth Soccer and Rocklin Little League.

Ken's priorities as a member of the City Council will be to maintain Rocklin as a safe city by supporting law enforcement and emergency response; keeping our parks and recreation programs at their present high standards; making sure taxpayers money is spent wisely and the public has access to budget information; working with our schools to make sure we have the best school system; and bringing new businesses to Rocklin. He is particularly supportive of the shopping centers at Sierra College Blvd. and I-80, which he believes will provide a significant boost to city revenues and will allow the city to add staff to the police and fire departments in the future.
