  • * 2011 - present - Attorney / Advisor. Represent clients charged with offenses. Advise clients on contract law issues.

  • * 2005 - 2011 - Court Administrator (performing duties as Chief Judge) State of California, Division of Workers' Compensation. Supervised 200 judges and 600 state personnel at 24 court houses around the state. Ensured ethical standards were enforced for all state employees. In capacity as Chief Judge, presided over multiple party / multiple courthouse venue cases. Reported to Governor and Legislature on efficiencies of the court system.

  • * 2001 - 2005 - Deputy District Attorney, Sacramento County. Prosecuted complex fraud cases. Prosecuted armed robbery cases, including Circuit City - Florin Road - armed robbery. Prosecuted road racing homicide case. Handled hundreds of cases and when unable to resolve them did trials. 16 felony trials prosecuted. Handled ongoing caseload with an average of 25 to 30 cases each week.

  • * 2000 - 2001 - Deputy District Attorney Santa Clara County. Prosecuted criminals charged with aggravated assault, burglary, robbery and other offenses. 4 felony trials prosecuted.

  • * 1991 to 2011 - United States Army (Judge Advocate General's Corps - JAG). Served as prosecutor, legal advisor to commanding general and defense counsel, among other roles. Also served as military magistrate. Served on active duty from 1991 through 1999. Mobilized in support of Global War on Terrorism in 2008-2009; and again in 2011. Awarded Meritorious Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievemant Medal, and other badges, decorations and medals. Attended Army Command and General Staff College - Combined Arms Staff Service School, Judge Advocate Officer Basic and Officer Advance Courses, Airborne Training, Advanced Criminal Advocacy Course, and others. Handled ongoing caseload of 35 cases per week and did over 50 trials for various crimes including theft, rape, robbery, murder and drug sales.

  • * 1987 - 1990 - Attorney/Legal Counsel. Represent clients that owned small businesses and/or were being sued or initiating lawsuits in Superior Court for various legal issues, including real estate broker negligence, breach of contract and negligent construction.
