I have lived in the Belmont-Redwood Shores area for over 10 years, and Belmont for the last five years. My wife, Diana, and I continue to be impressed by the strong local community and we look forward to raising our two girls, Jacqueline and Kellie, as part of that community.

As a software sales executive for Microsoft, I've spent the last 12-plus years helping companies throughout the Bay Area solve real business issues, from surviving the recession to implementing successful business strategies. My seasoned business acumen, combined with a B.S. in Accounting and an M.B.A. from CSU Chico, make me a strong candidate for city council.

If Elected, I Pledge to......

Protect Our Future:

· Mandate and drive fiscal responsibility to protect the foundation of our community - public safety and schools

· Work proactively with our State representatives to hear and support the voice of our community

· Leverage my seasoned business experience to find new sources of funding, create jobs and protect community services and programs

· Accept no campaign contributions over $25, now is not the time to be asking our community to fund expensive campaigns

Revitalize our Local Business Community:

· Create a marketing brand to help attract visitors to spend at our local businesses

· Accelerate our redevelopment efforts + if we wait too long we will miss out on an economic rebound

· Form a Clean Tech Committee to help recruit employers to our community

Build Green Initiatives into our Lifestyles:

· Optimize our use of existing resources - open space, residential, and commercial

· Educate our community - first 10 minutes of every Council meeting dedicated to Green topics

· Incentivize - reduce fees for sustainable building practices and adopt tiered rate systems

· Recognize our success - it can help attract visitors and employers to our community!

In closing, my candidacy provides an opportunity to bridge today's leadership with tomorrows; an opportunity to join the Council and work and learn from them while representing the voice of the next generation of the community. My hope is you believe in this same opportunity and I thank you in advance for your support in November.
