Edward Villanueva has the experience required to be the next Signal Hill Councilmember.
Edward has over 10 years experience in municipal government. Having worked for the City of Los Angeles, Office of Finance, and his current employment with the City of Long Beach, Public Works Department has provided immense knowledge of municipal government. Edward sits on the Board of Directors and is the Chief Financial Officer for California Families in Focus, a local, non-profit organization that emphasizes leadership development and empowerment in youth. Edward is also on the Board of Directors of the New City Public School, which is a charter school with an educational program that emphasizes bilingualism / multiculturalism, creative expression, reasoning, health and community engagement. Edward is passionate about the environment and wildlife in the area and improving public awareness of these issues.
