Edward Villanueva's Candidate Statement

By Edward J. Villanueva

Candidate for Council Member; City of Signal Hill

This information is provided by the candidate
The complete candidate's statement from the voter guide
Signal Hill is a great place to live, work and raise a family. In order to make our City even better, there is still more we can do. As a member of City Council, I am more than qualified to lead the City through this dynamic time. My extensive experience in municipal government, including budgeting, project management and administration, has more than prepared me for the changes on the horizon. I want to insure the City of Signal Hill you live in today, is the City you want to live in tomorrow.

I will improve our quality of life by increasing community services for seniors, youths and families, and increasing public safety. I want to preserve the City's diverse history and plan on maintaining responsible growth through planned development. I'll continue to improve City streets and sidewalks and will work to increase the City's "green space" with additional parks. I'll improve communication with residents for increased awareness of City decisions and will oversee the successful completion of the new police station.

I respectfully ask for your vote on March 3rd to represent Signal Hill with integrity, leadership and vision for a better community.
