Candidate for Board Member; Dry Creek Joint School District

How do we best teach our children?
If we want Dry Creek district to be the best it can be, we have to rely on the expertise of the people who know the kids best- the parents and the teachers.

Dry Creek has a lot going for it. Lots of schools have very high API rankings. I don't think we need to be satisfied with good. We should expect excellence. I would like to see our schools compared favorably to Folsom and Davis schools. Great schools are good for home values, and benefit everyone.

It is time for the School District to take a big vision, of where we want to be, and to bring the parents, teachers, and administrators together to make it happen.
