SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS: Experienced as a speech pathologist in various settings, including public schools, early childhood services, skilled nursing facilities, and diagnostic clinics. Worked with children from infancy to grade twelve. Expertise includes diagnosis and interventions for children with language-based reading and writing disabilities, developmental language disabilities, cerebral palsy, autism spectrum disorders, apraxia and other speech disorders. Competently integrate findings with those of professionals from diverse disciplines. Provide diagnosis and interventions, develop I.E.P.'s, support teachers and participate in committee work. Well-versed in current research, best practices, and government regulations. Prior professional experience obtained through positions in Vermont Public Schools and at the Rhode Island Easter Seals Society's Meeting Street Center Day School, Early Intervention Program and Diagnostic Clinic.
