THE COUNCIL MEMBERSHIP IS A TRUST and CONTRACT WITH THE PISMO CITIZENS

BRAHAMA D. SHARMA seeks the COUNCILMEMBER (4 year) seat this time not for personal glory, even though all previous attempts for a different office were also to serve, not for personal glory.

BRAHAMA D. SHARMA will serve for the entire 4 year term This is not a stepping stone to any higher office even in the Pismo Council.

The dignity of the Pismo Council must be restored.

BRAHAMA D. SHARMA is issue oriented. As a retired Administrator with a background in science and a Registered Parliamentarian gives me the unique asset to define issues, stripped of platitudes trying to get the vote for the next election around.

Precise communication of the issues is imperative. Unless one can do that the Council has no clear understanding as to what is being discussed, let alone how to decide?

Listening, observing and analysing the content, irrespective of the personalities and observing the due process under the Municipal Code is the key for dignified deliberations.

This necessarily allows of making decisions in the best interest of the City, objectively devoid of favoritism.

Under the laws of State of California and the Municipal Code only the collective voice of the Pismo Council is official. Specifically, Pismo Municipal Code does not allow any councilmember to act unilaterally even if the title is MAYOR.

As a retired Administrator,Brahama D. Sharma has no vested interest, financial or otherwise. My time is for all to meet with me in town hall meetings day and night.

The staff works for the Council and not other way around.
