My Educational Philosophy is Simple

I am a California native from a family of educators, including both teachers and administrators, and have many friends in education. Over quite a few decades I have lived in different counties and have attended, or my children have attended, school in several California districts. I have spent years examining what works and what doesn't work in public education.

I am convinced that the most important thing for a school district, including the Trustees, to collectively keep in mind is that every job and every action taken must have only one purpose and that purpose is to SUPPORT the work of the CLASSROOM TEACHER.

Put another way: there is no justification for spending the taxpayers' money except as the expense translates to education happening in the classroom.
