Candidate for
Board Member; Atascadero Unified School District; 2 Year Term

I am proud to have received endorsements from all of the organizations that represent school employees as well as from the largest newspaper in the county (and the only one offering endorsements in this race so far). I have not sought individual endorsements for the following reason.

There are a number of major political issues in this city that are hotly contested, but that have little or nothing to do with quality education. I enjoy broad bi-partisan (and even beyond that) support from many individuals who hold vastly different views on some of those issues. I would not want any of my supporters to feel less free to express an honest opinion on some non-school related topic fearing how that might reflect on my campaign.
