Frank has plans and goals to continue improvements in the department systems to benefit all taxpayers.

Frank's goals:

Continued development of web based service that would provide taxpayers with electronic billing options. Provide electronic courtesy reminders and payment notification. Continue development on our Customer Service Program which would allow customers to accomplish all department business online 24/7. Install new Tax Collection system The County's Automation plan calls for the retirement of the Main Frame Computer. This will require a new Tax Collection System. The Tax Collector, Audior and Assessor, along with the Information Technology department, are working together to determine the best method of developing a new system. In order to meet the timing of the retirement of the main frame system, this process must move forward in a timely manner.

Additional systems The Treasury Investment Manager will be replaced within the next year. This system was written by Frank and his assistant in 1987 and is need of replacement. The Transient Occupancy Tax System is in the process of being rewritten. This system brings in several million dollars of tax revenues. The return mail system and the Taxes on the Web System are identified for replacement or enhancement.
