The Most Critical Issues Facing the City of Burlingame
The most critical issues currently facing the City of Burlingame are:

a. ERAF funding losses. We can remedy this by better accountability at the state-level.

b. TOT revenues are increasing more slowly than expected in the rebounding economy.

c. Frozen transportation funds - leaving Burlingame with less road improvements than we have done in the past. We are also left waiting for Auxiliary Lane project from Third Avenue to Millbrae Avenue. And there is Broadway's Interchange, the oldest overpass in San Mateo County constructed in the late 1940s.
