I have a M.S. in mathematics from the University of Notre Dame in Indiana. I did a graduate fellowship at the University of Illinois - Champaign-Urbana. I received a PhD in mathematics from the University of Portland before coming to the College of San Mateo. I have taught mathematics at the College of San Mateo for over forty years.


I have always been a Democrat and have always voted. I was a Central Committee Member in the 1980s representing the 19th Assembly District. I served as treasurer for Bill Schumacher in all his campaigns.


My community service includes:
