Candidate for
Council Member; City of San Mateo

I have lived in San Mateo since 1976 and been very active in the community serving on numerous boards supporting children and families, the disabled, preserving local history as well as supporting local business.

Served on several city council appointed advisory committess for fire services, human services and developing a downtown transit center.

I was elected in 2001 for a four-year term, after serving a one year term in 2000. I represent San Mateo on the Criminal Justice Council, HEART - a regional (city and county)housing trust. I also serve on the Community Services Policy committee for the League of California Cities.

For the past 14 years, I have been employed by Mills-Peninsula Health Services as Director of Community Relations.
