Burlingame School District has been very special to my family for over five years. I welcome the opportunity to join the School Board using my experience as a parent, an active PTA member and a believer in savoring these early years to do what is best for all Burlingame children.

Childhood is a journey - a time for exploring, growing and learning. We should keep this in mind when we send our children off to school everyday and when we make decisions affecting them.

I will spend less time in the board room and more time in our community. I will be visible, accessible, and supportive.

I am committed to helping teachers do what they do best, meeting the needs of every child.

I will help us remain fiscally responsible while maintaining a forward focus.

I will work to make sure people are aware of all our successes.

My husband and I have three children in the Burlingame School District; two sons at Washington Elementary School and a daughter at Burlingame Intermediate School. By making smart decisions we as a community can pull together and help each child reach their potential, and allow us all to share their journey.
