We need to expand our partnerships with civic and businesses in order to avoid duplication of services as well as increasing our revenue. Continue our partnership with the City of Daly City and Town of Colma. Suppport Kids First Foundation
We need to partner as often as we can to enhance our programs.

Schools must partner with parents, businesses and social organizations in order to build a team working on behalf of all of our children.

I have served on the Kids First Foundation Board to promote our schools and need for assistance from parents and the community. An annual walk-a-thon is in place.

Served on sub-committee for the partnerships with City of Daly City and Town of Colma resulting in the building of 2 gyms at Ben Franklin and T. Pollicita Schools as well as a soccer complex. Partnerships with Junior Giants resulted in a first class baseball field at Kennedy School. These partnerships are an asset for our schools as well as our community.

For the past 8 years I have participated in Career Days at our schools, to share with students my work experience, and to link the business world with the classroom.

I support programs, such as the Heroes Outreach by the Daly City Fire Department, where local firefighters volunteer to come into the classroom and read and talk with the children.

Through my involvement as an active Board Member of the Friends of the Daly City Library, I have supported the summer reading program which provides another setting where parents and children can enjoy books together, and celebrate jointly their reading achievement.
