As our City Councilman, he will ensure our tax dollars are spent wisely and city departments are accountable to taxpayers. Kevin served as a volunteer on the bi-partisan Citizen's Charter Reform Committee, which laid the foundation for structural reform and accountability at City Hall.

As the chairman of the Mission Bay Park Committee, Kevin is leading the fight for clean water and protecting our bay's natural resources. He recently uncovered $17 million in park revenues that were being misdirected to other programs. As a member of the City's Park and Recreation Board of Directors, he is enhancing parks and open space throughout the city.

Prior to his current position, Kevin was selected as a National Fellow for the prestigious Coro Foundation National Fellowship in Public Affairs. This fellowship provided him with detailed, hands-on experience in the non profit, government, community and public sector arenas.

Kevin is a graduate of San Diego State University, where he served as student body president. He remains an active alumnus, serving as President of the Aztec Athletic Foundation Board of Directors.

Kevin and his wife, Katherine, a small business owner in the Gaslamp Quarter, are homeowners in Point Loma. They are proud parents of Jack (4) and Lauren (2).
