Fiscal Future of Arroyo Grande

By Tony M. Ferrara

Candidate for Mayor; City of Arroyo Grande

This information is provided by the candidate
Passage of Proposition 1A on the November Ballot is Critical!
I want to take this opportunity to strongly appeal to all voters to "VOTE YES ON PROP 1A" to protect local taxpayer revenue and public safety funding from being diverted to State coffers at the discretion of the Legislature.

For decades, California legislative leaders have exceeded the spending limits of the State budget, knowing that they could always "cash in" on local tax revenue whenever they they felt it necessary. They use cities like Arroyo Grande as their own personal "ATM Machine." By so doing, they rob you, the citizens, of the services you deserve and have financed through local sales tax and property taxes. Services such as street and sewer repairs, public safety, parks, libraries, and business improvement programs. Prop 1A provides Constitutional protection against the raids on local budgets.

Please help me as your Mayor, plan for a stable fiscal future for Arroyo Grande. "VOTE YES ON PROP 1A!"
