Politics is the business of the people. As a result of the experience of the last eight years I have learned:

Study the facts. Trust, but verify. Present excellence and be persistant.

In the planning process of San Diego County it is clear that if you do nothing you are endorsing what ever others want, not what you believe is right. I promise to use my experience and determination to protect and preserve our community's rural character.

I want to keep Ramona from becoming over crowded with urban development and thinking. I believe that Ramona should retain her rural qualities by preserving large lots for agriculture and animal husbandry. Promote farming, ranching and preserve our natural resources of wildlife. Defend our private property by including all owners and neighborhoods in the planning process of any project.

By protecting our valley we will protect the clean air and water that is produced in Ramona's high valley. We must preserve a healthy quality of life for ourselves and our childrens, children. We are an example. We have a chance to be a great model for San Diego County, southern California and our nation.
