I am a 30-year resident of Sacramento. I am married and have a son that graduated from Sacramento public schools. My wife and I are both educators, and have shared many professional development goals. The reason I am running for the Board is to make a difference in the education system. I believe I, as an educator, can bring expertise and knowledge to the Board. Just as the optimum medical board should have medical professionals, an educational board should have educational professionals to really make a difference and set sound policy.
