FIX TRANSPORTATION FIRST!
We need to fix local streets and roads, synchronize our traffic signals and get better service from public transit. I will work to create a Measure A fund appropriation that cost effectively leverages the use of technology to address traffic congestion.

IMPROVE SENIOR AND CHILD SERVICES
Our seniors and children deserve better care and we have an obligation to ensure their health and safety. I will seek to deliver living wage benefits to health service workers so that we may retain and attract the most qualified and skilled providers. Our seniors deserve the best care. I will seek to fix the inadequacies of our child welfare system to prevent further abuses of our most vulnerable family members; our children.

HELP OUR SCHOOLS DELIVER
I will fight to increase further investment in our education system by increasing teacher salaries, incorporating more technology in classrooms, adequately providing school supplies and textbooks and funding after-school programs.

CUT GOVERNMENT WASTE
We need to find ways to cut waste and make our local government healthy again. I will review the operations of every department and use my business acumen to increase the efficiency of government and improve county services.

CREATE MORE JOBS
I will work with businesses to create more and higher paying jobs, so that we may continue to stimulate the economic vitality of our county.

DEVELOP LIVABLE COMMUNITIES
I will work to implement a "Smart Growth" policy to create affordable housing around businesses and public transit. We need a balanced approach towards our housing needs while preserving our precious open lands.
