Sanctity of Marriage

By A. J. Weissmiller

Candidate for Member, Republican Party County Central Committee; County of San Mateo; Supervisorial District 2

This information is provided by the candidate
In the year 2000 61% of the voters passed Proposition 22 that said the State of California will only recognize marriage between a man and a woman. Despite the will of the people, the State Legislature and some local-elected government officials are pressing to support domestic partners and same-sex marriage laws.

Marriage is ordained of God and it is defined as relationship between a man and a woman for the purpose of founding and maintaining a family.
