This information is provided by the candidate

Burlingame is a special place because of the residents and local business owners who care about our city. It's a city where people stop and chat with their neighbors, and shopkeepers know their customers by name.

But in the 25 years my husband Jim and I have lived here, it's become increasingly difficult for citizens to make their voices heard at City Hall. The upcoming City Council election in November is critical.

We need to have an independent thinker on the council who represents the interests of residents and local business owners. Electing me will bring balance to the City Council, and citizens will have a say in how Burlingame is run.

I am depending on support from the people I hope to represent: local residents and business owners. I will not accept special interest (such as PAC) contributions.
