Smart Voter Political Philosophy for Lane Wm. Lees

Candidate for
Board Member; Montara Water and Sanitary District; 4 Year Term

This information is provided by the candidate

I beleive the Board members of the Montara Water and Sanitary District are in place to provide for the administration of a water and sanitary system that is here to service the citizen of the district. The Board is responible for infrastructure repair and upgrades, sewage disposal, fire safety and to provide quality drinking water to the district. I beleive that these responsibilities should be administered with honesty, integrity and without prejudice. As an individual with a family history spanning more than 40 years on the coast, I value the community in which we live and do not want to see another Daly City south of Devil's Slide. However, I am sensitive to landowners' rights.

It has been said that he who controls the water, controls the world. Others have been heard to say that there are ways to control property without ownership. The MWSD should not be one of those ways.

If elected, I will do my best to administer and protect this district in relation to its water and sewer system.

Thank You, Lane Wm. Lees
