Tribal Chairman

Chairman of the Kawaiisu Tribe. I was elected in 1997, re-elected in 2002 and have been politically active since 1987. I am following in the footsteps of my grandmother and father who were also elected representatives. The Kawaiisu have maintained government to government relations since 1776 when the Spanish first encountered our tribe.

University Instructional Support Technician - Art

CSUB has over 1000 enrolled Art students. I teach our students how to use the materials and equipment necessary to create ceramics, paintings, prints and sculpture. Another aspect of the job is budgeting: stretching State funds to acquire the materials, equipment and tools our students need to get a quality education.

Master Artist - Steel Sculptor

I create 4 by 10 foot Steel Etchings and Steel Sculptures which are often etched with symbols that are tied to tribal scientific data.

Master Journeyman Welder

Twenty Years in the Construction, Oil, Shipping and Space Industry.
