Budget Reform - Living Within Our Means, As We All Have To Do!

By Ralph A. Hernandez

Candidate for Recall of Gray Davis; State of California

This information is provided by the candidate
We all have to live within our means, and the State should have to do the same with the taxes that they take from us!
We all have a certain amount of money to live off of, minus what is taken from us by the Federal and State governments in taxes. There is no reason why the many billions of dollars in taxes isn't enough for the State to operate from. The more we are taxed, the harder it is for all of us to survive! Budget reform is long overdue!

Our state used to operate quite well many years ago on what they took from us. It cannot continue to tax us every time they overspend. If we were to do the same in our personal lives we too would be in financial trouble. The economic and financial suffering must stop, and we have to return to sound financial decision-making. It can be done!

The "Tax and Spend" politicians must he held accountable! No longer should their adverse impacts upon us be willingly or silently accepted. The People of this State deserve a Governor who will lead us out of this mess! I am that Candidate, Ralph A. Hernandez. I am the one who has the experience and guts to do it, and with your vote for me I will do it!

Please, on October 7, 2003, vote for "Ralph A. Hernandez" for Governor.

PS - For information as to one of my many community involvement(s), I'm Vice-Chair of the Alliance of Contra Costa Taxpayers group, please go to our web site ( http://www.acctaxpayers.com/ ).
