Education and Qualifications:

I have lived in San Mateo County my entire life. I have been a resident homeowner in Hillsborough since 1986. I offer the experience, interest, time and energy necessary to fulfill the duties of an effective new Town Council member.

I have served twice on the San Mateo County Charter Review Commission. From 1987 to 1995, I served as a member of the San Mateo County Planning Commission. I was first elected in 1995 to the Peninsula Health Care District's Board of Directors where I am now ending my second term.

If elected, to the Town Council I will strive to efficiently maintain our community's safety, integrity and quality of life. I will give a full and fair hearing to each speaker on the agenda subject under discussion. I will ask to have the Council meetings televised on our community's free cable channel 26. I will seek to have a few minutes set-aside at the start of each Council meeting to hear citizens' concerns that are not on that night's agenda so each resident will know they have a place and time to voice their concerns.

Community input is an open government's greatest asset.
