I am vehemently oppose to school vouchers.
School vouchers are not a solution for what is wrong in the public school system today. They do nothing to fix the problems. Instead, they provide wealthy parents who can afford to pay private school tuition costs with a subsidy that they do not need at the expense of poor parents who cannot affort private school tuition costs even if they were given a voucher. Every child in the Golden State deserves a quality public education regardless of race, color, or family income level. Your tax dollars should not be used to fund religious and private school tuition under any circumstances.
