Smart Voter Official Statement for Robert J. Foucrault

Candidate for
Coroner; County of San Mateo

This is a copy of information submitted to elections officials by the candidate

ROBERT FOUCRAULT Age: 39
Occupation: Chief Deputy Coroner

Education & Qualifications:
I have served in the County Coroner's office for nearly a decade, including positions as Chief Deputy Coroner and Acting Coroner. My combined professional experience in law enforcement and forensic investigation spans 20 years and includes positions with San Bruno, Millbrae, San Francisco and San Mateo County.

The County Coroner plays a key role with both law enforcement and the public safety that must be handled professionally and sensitively. No other candidate running has the years of experience I offer for this important position.

I am proud to have the support of law enforcement professionals throughout San Mateo County from the Sheriff to police chiefs and police organizations. They recognize that the office of Coroner must have someone with experience and expertise.

Additionally, I am proud to have the support of funeral home directors throughout the County. In times of tragedy, funeral homes and the Coroner's office must work closely together to ease the burdens of family members who have lost a loved one.

I believe in the concept that government works when it provides the highest quality service. You will find me very sensitive to family needs and diverse cultural practices.

I respectfully ask for your vote.

/s/ Robert Foucrault
