Putting People First

Getting citizen input, feedback and ideas.
Two years ago, I ran for the same office I am running for today - the one formerly held by the Hon. Eileen Larson until her retirement several months ago. I narrowly lost that race but I am trying again.

During the 24 months between campaigns, I have made it a point to talk to people and ask for their ideas and input. I asked what they thought was right and what was wrong with Foster City. Even before I officially filed my nomination papers, I mailed a poll to as many residents as possible, asking them for their opinions on local government.

I am surprised and pleased at the large number of responses. I do not take these replies lightly. They have been tabulated and will soon be posted on my web site. But, more importantly, they will be the things that I tackle first when elected because I know that they matter to you.
