Smart Voter Political Philosophy for Rick Ochsenhirt

Candidate for
Councilmember; City of South San Francisco

This information is provided by the candidate

My political philosophy is simple. The needs of people should be considered and factored into all decisions made at the council level.

As an elected official, I will maintain an open-door policy that will make me readily available and easily accessible to any resident who wants to talk.

My slogan for this campaign is: "You'll have a friend in City Hall." And, I mean it. I won't just be the friend of the movers and shakers, I will do my best to be the friend of anyone who needs advice or assistance from City Hall.

To do that, I need your help, your ideas and your input. I take the work of local government seriously and believe that it is the duty of municipal officials to leave their city better than they found it.

With one of your three votes, either by absentee ballot in October or at the polls on November 6, we can make City Hall a more user-friendly and productive part of our community.
