Continuing to deliver sound local government

By Michael J. King

Candidate for Councilmember; City of San Carlos; 4 Year Term

This information is provided by the candidate
Keeping San Carlos' government strong, our business vital and our neighborhoods safe and attractive is my goal.
Sound local government isn't always easy to achieve. Every issue must weighed carefully with consideration given to its potential impacts on our residents - both today and in the future.

Hard work is necessary to continually improve our community and strengthen municipal government, but I am committed to doing it because the stakes are very high: the economic strength of our community, the safety and welfare of our residents, the value of our property and the quality of our lives depend on it.

We must continue to upgrade, beautify and improve because a city that stands still can easily fall victim to blight.

I always try to weigh the impacts of each project and work to protect our traditions, our environment and the character of our established neighborhoods. I try to envision what any given project will achieve for San Carlos in ten years, in twenty, even in fifty.

With your vote, either by mail or at the polls on Nov. 6th, I will continue working with you to accomplish these goals.
