Quality of Life

By Mark Haesloop

Candidate for Councilmember; City of San Carlos; 4 Year Term

This information is provided by the candidate
We must not sacrifice our quality of life to growth and modernization.
With growth and modernization comes the threat of destroying the very things that make our community important to us.

To avoid this, we must insist that every new project fits the character of existing neighborhoods and that natural open space, parks and recreational areas are enhanced, not downgraded and that municipal services are strong enough to support it. We must demand that with every project, come a bonus that will add to the character, beauty and quality of life in our city.

I have served on the San Carlos Planning Commission for nearly a decade. I have fought for these ideals and as your Council representative, I will continue to work toward these goals.
