Safety in the schools

By Joseph A. Granata

Candidate for Board Member; San Mateo Union High School District

This information is provided by the candidate
Safety should be the districts top priority.
Safety should be the districts top priority. All students need to feel safe, and be safe when they are at school. This district has been fortunate to have police departments help in their quest for a safe campus for the students, and staff. I want to maintain that alliance, and make it even stronger. If I am elected I will work hard to:
  • Have regular patrols of the school; to cut down on truancy, and unauthorized quests.
  • Maintain a patrol officer on campus at all times to help in any emergency.
  • Make sure the students and staff feel safe on campus.
