As a lifetime resident of SC, I would be honored to serve you as your next City Councilwoman.

The next few years are going to be critical for SC as issues like traffic congestion and affordable workforce housing gain momentum. Challenges in sustaining the economic prosperity of the past few years with suitable and responsible economic development will need to be met. I will work to support a sustainable business environment while preserving our special values as a unique community. I am committed to enhancing our Parks and Recreation programs, and to bringing more cultural, arts and entertainment programs to our city. I support creating progressive, visionary programs that ensure a continued high quality of life for both young families and mature residents.

I will collaborate with the School District to work to meet SC educational needs, including a high school.

My experience in the community includes SC Planning Commission, SC Economic Development Advisory Committee, SC Chamber, Friends of the Library, St. Charles Parish, SC Little League and AYSO.

I solicit your vote so that I can work to make SC an even better city. For more information, visit http://www.ingedoherty.com, or contact me by phone (591-5540) or email (ingedoherty@hotmail.com) to discuss issues.
