Measure A. Charter Amendment Section 16, Public Works Director -- County of Fresno (Majority Approval Required)

Shall the Fresno County Charter be amended as follows: Amending section 16 to remove the Director of Public Works as a county surveyor and authorizing the Director of Public Works to appoint a county surveyor.

Measure B. General Obligation Bond -- Laton Unified School District (55% Approval Required)
Pass: 213 / 57.10% Yes votes ...... 160 / 42.90% No votes
To improve the quality of education; make health and safety improvements; modernize/construct classrooms, restrooms and school facilities; and improve P.E. fields and facilities; shall Laton Joint Unified School District issue $7,000,000 of bonds at legal rates, averaging $421,000 annually as long as bonds are outstanding at a rate of approximately 6 cents per $100 assessed value, with annual audits, an independent citizens' oversight committee, NO money for salaries, and funding that cannot be taking by the State?

To ensure the availability of and to maintain and enhance essential City services, such as fire protection services among others, shall an ordinance be adopted to enact a four percent (4%) utility users tax indefinitely on electric, natural gas and telecommunications services to raise approximately $398,000 annually, and which includes procedures for fair and broad-based application?

If Measure C passes, should the revenues raised be primarily used to provide, maintain and enhance fire services in the City of Parlier?

Measure E. Transaction and Use Tax -- City of Kingsburg (2/3 Approval Required)
Pass: 1635 / 71.30% Yes votes ...... 658 / 28.70% No votes
To generate approximately $940,000 annually for ten years to hire additional police officers to increase crime suppression and prevention; bolster firefighter and paramedic staffing levels and 911 emergency services; and restore and replace out-of-date equipment, shall the City of Kingsburg enact a 1 cent sales tax, requiring a citizens' oversight committee and annual reporting of expenses, with all funds generated staying in the City of Kingsburg?
