Conlon Proposes to Improve California's Bond Rating
Improve the bond rating by addressing each concern of the major bond rating services and working with the Legislature and Governor to address these concerns.
Conlon Porposes to Solve the States Unfunded Pension Liabilities
There are two major public pension funds California-PERS and STRS. Both have over $200 billion in unfunded pension liabilities this unreal amount needs to reduced to a more realistic amount. The State Treasurer is automatically on the two governing boards and will be able to propose action and bring pressure to get it done. Conlon will do so if elected.
Conlon Advocates Pro-Growth Tax Policies for California
California is losing over $3.0 of income and capital gains taxes by high-income taxpayers moving out of state. Conlon proposes reducing the income tax and capital gains tax rate from 13% to under 10% to slow down or stop the out of state movement of high income taxpayers.
