I am a lifelong advocate for kids and am passionate about preparing them for the 21st Century world.

I believe the education of our children is our most important priority because they are our future. I am dedicated to providing children with the skills they need in order to have healthy and successful lives in a rapidly changing world and workplace.

I believe teachers are instrumental in the success of our children. I support teachers, parents, and schools working together as a community to prepare our children for the future.

I bring 40 years of experience in education, most served in a county office of education. I have spent many years as a teacher in the classroom, then as a school counselor, principal and assistant superintendent.

I currently serve on the board of Mentor Me in Petaluma.
