Mark's Supporters and Endorsers

Matt Hall - "Dr. Packard has always worked closely with his colleagues in developing and setting policy. He is a dedicated to Carlsbad's future and works for the common good, and that is what really differentiates Carlsbad's governance team from other communities. I ask voters to support his reelection."

Bud Lewis - "As Carlsbad's former Mayor, I had the opportunity and privilege of working with and mentoring Mark as a new Councilman. It didn't take long for him to come up to speed on the role of a Councilman or on the issues he needed to quickly command. He's a fast study and sincerely works for the best interest of the entire community."

Former United States Congressman Ron Packard - "Mark Packard has always kept one eye on fiscal solvency and the other on providing the best service at the most competitive price. He has done that with his dental practice and he does that as a Carlsbad City Councilman. This is a difficult balance, yet Mark does not shirk from this responsibility, he embraces it and Carlsbad is a better place because of it."

Ofie Escobedo - "I have known Dr. Packard and his family since the early `80s. He deeply cares about Carlsbad and wants to ensure it's a safe community for all. He is particularly interested with our Barrio, the birthplace of our city. Please vote for Dr. Packard on November 4th."

Carlton Lund, Immediate Past Chairperson of the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce - "As the Chair of the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce, I had the opportunity to meet regularly with Councilperson Packard and appreciated his unwavering support of business as an economic driver for Carlsbad. I found him to be very approachable and very interested in the city working with business to create a win-win situation."
