Focused on trust and transparency.
I was appointed to the JCFPD Board in July 2013 and I am very proud of what I have accomplished in only 16 months. My focus has been transparency and regaining the trust and confidence of the community.

I directed the revisions and development of the fire department website: http://www.JCFPD.com into a useful community resource. I worked with a local C.P.A. to create financial reports that are comprehensive and understandable, creating transparency of JCFPD financial budgeting and spending, and I posted these financials on the website. I authored Ordinance 2014-1 to enable hiring firefighter-paramedics, which includes a low-income exemption. I formed the Julian Fire Plugs, a 501c3 non-profit corporation dedicated to fundraising for JCFPD. I participated in numerous fundraisers for the fire department.

My passion and mission is to help raise the stature and level of service of our volunteer fire department to one of the best in the State of California.

I am asking for your vote to allow me to continue working hard on behalf of the community and for the improvement of our volunteer fire department.
