Retrofit/Rebuild
The Californai Legislature has given all public agencies to 2030 to have their buildings up to seismic codes. Many of our buildings will need to re-tooled or rebuilt if we are going to obey that law. This current board is palanning on just how to do that. I personally believe it will be a combination of retrofitting some of our buildings and rebuilding some. Hospital care is rapidially changing and single rooms for care is both efficient and respecful to patients and families.

Preparing to communicate through WiFi and other electronic means will be the future. The goal is to build a healthcare system that will follow patients from bed to home with the patient having, at their fingertips ,personal communication devices to talk to TCHD when they are in need.
