Candidate for
Council Member; City of Galt

I love this town and want to be your next City Council member. Galt is where I raised my children and where my parents came to enjoy their retirement. I have a long history of service to our community: Galt Joint Union High School District Board President, City of Galt Planning Commission Chair, Girl Scout Manager, and parent/community volunteer. I am a lifetime member of the Galt Area Historical Society,Volunteers of America, and have a Master's in Boardsmanship.

I have over 25 years in the nursing profession, providing compassionate, competent care. As a unit manager at a large correctional facility, I know how to balance budgets, manage human resources, and negotiate fairly with unions. I am respected as a manager and a leader.

Galt needs experienced leadership as we enter our next building boom. Current residents should not be asked to bear the costs of new development and seniors should be protected from taxes that drain income. Growth must pay for itself. No one else on the ballot understands the impact of growth on schools more than I. Our children's futures depend on coordination between school districts and the city.
