Accountable Board: The hospital board should be accountable to taxpayers and should hold the hospital administration accountable for ethical, competent and efficient operation.

Transparency: The hospital board should operate in an open and transparent manner, making all decisions with full public discussion wherever possible. The hospital should have open and transparent pricing for all services which should be easily accessible prior to receiving service.
