Smart Voter Political Philosophy for Valerie Amezcua

Candidate for
Board Member; Santa Ana Unified School District

This information is provided by the candidate

Santa Ana schools need strong leadership in order to keep our safe and help them succeed. I am the only candidate with over 27 years in Public Safety.

I have served our community as an education advocate, a supervising probation officer, a parent, a City Commissioner, and a gang intervention specialist. I have the experience and leadership that is needed to bring about critical reforms in our schools.

We cannot improve academic outcomes for our kids if we are not willing to elect new people and enact needed reforms. I will fight everyday to hold our district leaders accountable and I will cut bureaucracy and wasteful spending.

As your advocate I will : Strengthen Campus Safety Improve Student Performance Increase Parent and Community Involvement Protect funding for after-school sports, programs, Arts, and College preparation.

I am proud to have received the support of Community Leaders, Elected Officials, City Commissioners and I would be honored to have your VOTE.
