Reasons for running

With the challenges our city faces, District 3 neighborhoods need a full-time councilmember with proven, senior-level management skills in government, public service and business who is committed to helping people, not special interests.

I have implemented state and federal public programs, negotiated union contracts, managed billion dollar budgets, have the advocacy skills to address our challenges and the commitment to work full-time for our city.

We must continue budget/pension reform, resolve the police contract and continue the streamlining of city departments. I support audit and public disclosure of all city spending and voter-approved mandates for budget reform and debt reduction.
