Chris Amaral has four children with his wife of twenty years. Long active in the local community, Chris has served as a volunteer and the board of directors for numerous charities and groups.

Chris has over two decades of senior-level management and consulting experience for medium to large corporations. He has successfully led teams of employees, managed portfolios with annual activity in the billions, and has managed multi-million dollar budgets. He has a proven track record of building and leading teams across a variety of industries from not-for-profit to financial services and customer service. Chris brings with him an effective combination of financial and business acumen, and the ability to inspire real world experience.

Chris has spent his recent career successfully partnering with government administration programs to increase efficiencies, adapt to new technologies and think more strategically. This combination of private and public sector experience has put him in a unique position to be able to serve the people of El Dorado County.
