Candidate Statement

We all live here for different reasons, but we have a lot in common. We want to walk and shop in a safe, vibrant downtown. We need meaningful and rewarding employment. And as residents of Fort Bragg, we feel an obligation to serve our community and a right to help determine its future.

As a candidate for city council I am committed to:

- Support and encouragement of the small businesses that line our streets, provide goods and services, create jobs and generate tax revenue.

- Careful and thoughtful movement forward on plans for the former mill site, beginning with the coastal trail.

- Continued work to constantly and measurably improve quality of life for all residents.

Now I need to know what is important to you. What do you love about Fort Bragg? What¡¦s missing for you? Why have you chosen to live here and what would make you want to stay? What is your vision for Fort Bragg's future?

I pledge that if I am elected, I will listen to your ideas, study all of the facts, and approach every decision with care and concern for all Fort Bragg residents - current and future.

I believe that you deserve intelligent, thoughtful, responsible leadership, and I ask for your vote in this election.
