Joyce Pearson is running for L.A. City Council to insure that West Valley neighborhoods finally get the services, revenues and attention they expect and deserve. A Valley resident for almost three decades, Joyce believes our district deserves to be heard and be seen with the same magnitude as Downtown and the West Side. Her leadership will mean that our communities, our neighborhoods, and our families will get hands-on involvement, personal access, and a real say in city planning for our future. She'll see that a fair share of our tax dollars comes back to our area where they can do the most good.

Joyce is not a "professional politician." She has built her own successful accounting and law practice in the West Valley. She has also made community involvement a top priority. Joyce was in the forefront of the Valley Cityhood movement, and won the District 8 candidate race. Her fight for Valley Independence helped lead to the creation of Neighborhood Councils, and Joyce was elected to the Woodland Hills-Warner Center N.C. where she served 14 years--six of those as Chair, now Chair Emeritus.

It's time the West Valley stopped getting treated like a backwater town. As your Councilperson, Joyce will put into action her plans for sustainable growth, sensible density and smarter traffic management while preserving our lifestyle and neighborhoods. Her mission is to revitalize the West Valley by attracting new business, empowering existing businesses, refurbishing our infrastructure and fixing traffic and mass transit.

When elected, Joyce will give the West Valley the voice and vigor it has needed in City Hall.

On March 5th, Vote Joyce Pearson for L.A. City Council.
